A total of 408 men and 417 women received eye examinations and treatment. Eye drops were provided to 180 people who required medication during the screening. The 13th round of the ATIRA project was conducted in Argoba District of South Wollo Zone, Amhara Region in collaboration with the Amhara Health Bureau, the Carter Center, and the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine. The project primarily aims to explore effective strategies for preventing chronic trachoma and to identify key risk factors associated with the disease.
