Eyu-Ethiopia Held Consultative Workshop on Using eCHIS Eye Health Module to Integrate Primary Eye Care

Eyu-Ethiopia, in collaboration with the Ministry of Health (MOH), held a consultative workshop in Addis Ababa on the eCHIS Eye Health Module. The workshop aimed to review the eCHIS eye health component to use as key platform to integrate primary eye care within the primary health care system as part of the Primary Eye Care Mainstreaming (MAIPEC) project in Sidama Region, Ethiopia. The workshop brought together key stakeholders, including the Ministry of Health, Sidama Regional Health Bureau, Health Extension Worker representatives, and eye health NGOs in Ethiopia. The meeting concluded with a decision to refine the current module to improve usability and agreed action points to update and enhance the module.
