Eyu-Ethiopia Officially Launches 'Operation Sight II' Project to Expand Eyelid Surgery Access

​In collaboration with the Ministry of Health, the Amhara Regional Health Bureau, The Carter Center Ethiopia, and Orbis International Ethiopia, Eyu-Ethiopia has officially launched 'Operation Sight II.' This critical initiative will make eyelid surgery services accessible to over 25,000 community members across 72 districts within six zones. ​Representatives from the Federal, Regional, Zonal, and District Health Bureaus, alongside heads of partner organizations, attended the official launch event in Bahir Dar. During the event, government health delegates and partner entities reaffirmed their shared commitment and readiness to work collaboratively to ensure the project's success.
