Rehabilitation
We are engaged in vision rehabilitation programs aimed at restoring the functional abilities and improving the quality of life of individuals with low vision or blindness.

In collaboration with the Amhara Region Blindness Association, we provided support to individuals from low-income backgrounds who are affected by visual impairments. After an initial screening by the Association, each person's eye health was further examined by an ophthalmologist to determine appropriate treatment options.
In addition to eye care service, we conducted a comprehensive needs assessment to better understand the challenges these individuals face in their daily lives and educational pursuits.

Based on the findings, we delivered customized support packages designed to meet each person’s specific needs. These packages included assistive tools such as:

Braille materials and slates

White canes

Mobile phones

IC recorders

Eyeglasses
This initiative reflects our commitment to promoting independence, accessibility, and a higher quality of life for individuals with visual impairments.
